Titusville Police Department May Disband Motorcycle Unit

TITUSVILLE, Fla. -- In a move to save money and increase safety, the Titusville Police Department may disband its motorcycle unit.The city council will discuss the plan at Tuesday night's meeting.The department would replace four motorcycles with three patrol cars. The county says the cars are actually cheaper to buy and operate.The motorcycles cost more to fix and break down more often. There is also concern that the motorcycles are dangerous in bad weather.
