According to police, a tractor trailer was in the right lane and the light had turned green. As the driver of the tractor trailer was starting to move forward, the driver of a Mercedes Benz collided with the rear of the semi.A trooper was parked at a gas station across the street and said that he didn't see the crash but heard the impact. The trooper then rushed over to try to help. The trooper said the driver of the Mercedes was entrapped in the car and but he couldn't get to him to see if he had a pulse.Firefighters had to chop off the roof of the car to get to the vitctim, but by then the driver had already died."Obviously, the driver was distracted for one reason or another. There was no signs of skid marks or evasive actions on behalf of the driver," said Trooper Frederick Hall of the Florida Highway Patrol.FHP said the car was registered to a female out of South Florida. The male driver was believed to be in his late teens or early 20s. His identity has not yet been determined.
