Flagler County Company Adding Hundreds Of Jobs

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

More than a thousand people lined up to find work with an expanding Flagler County company.

Palm Coast Data announced Palm Coast would be its operations base and that would bring 700 new jobs in the next three years.

Wednesday, applicants crowded into the Chamber of Commerce, applying for everything from data entry jobs, to finance managers.

"When you need a job, you don't really care what you went to school for. You need food on the table," said Janice Frassetto.

Palm Coast was so eager to have the jobs, city employees are moving out of the building used for City Hall and letting Palm Coast Data use the space.

Flagler County has the highest jobless rate in the state at ten percent.
