APOPKA, Fla. -- Prosecutors laid out their case Thursday morning against the man accused of making up a bombing plot to get revenge. Closing arguments were underway Thursday afternoon in the case against Kenneth Reeves.Investigators believe Reeves planted pipe bombs at an Apopka home and then claimed the family's teenager, Scott Davis Jr. did it.The prosecution opened with a plea for jurors to use their common sense; either every member of the Davis family lies or Kenneth Reeves is the real liar. The defendant, Kenneth Reeves, told jurors Wednesday that Scott Davis planted pipe bombs around his family's Apopka home. He has Davis planting unstable bombs in his own room and his parents. He also testified that Scott Davis Sr. and Heather Davis knew about the bombs. Reeves even said Heather Davis bragged that the sheriff's department couldn't find the bombs. The defense paints a picture of a dysfunctional family with a troubled young man, a teen at the time.Juror should get the case Thursday afternoon.
