Man Convicted For Framing Teen By Planting Pipe Bombs

Posted: 1:14 pm EDT October 17, 2008Updated: 1:18 pm EDT October 17, 2008

An Orange County family is vindicated. A jury worked into the evening Thursday to convict Kenneth Reeves for framing a teenager by planting bombs around his home!

Scott Davis Jr.'s reputation was ruined when he was falsely accused. He was framed after his step mom says she turned down a dinner date with Reeves.

The teenager was eventually cleared of the charges, but his family has waited nearly a year and a half for justice.

"I think it's wonderful to see someone get what they deserve, you know," said Scott Jr.'s father, Scott Davis, Sr.

In all, Reeves was found guilty on nine of the 11 charges filed against him. Four of the charges carry a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison.

Reeves' sentencing has been set for Friday, October 24. He's being held without bond.
