BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- New people of interest and new DNA tests could delay whether a Brevard County man gets a new trial for a murder committed almost three decades ago. William Dillon has been in prison for 27 years for the murder of James Dvorak, a crime he says he didn't commit.Dillon's attorneys hoped to have a hearing at the end of this month seeking a new trial or to have Dillon released. They claim DNA samples taken from a shirt found in a trash can prove Dillon wasn't the killer.Dillon's brother said they have waited too long to get his brother justice."I can remember the day they knocked on the door saying we have to talk to your brother and my brother never coming back again," Joe Dillon said.Prosecutors say Dillon is the real killer and that he was convicted on more evidence than just the bloody shirt in question.
