Teens Accused In School Plot Make Plea, Get Probation

DELAND, Fla. -- The teenagers accused of plotting to attack DeLand Middle School will walk away from the crime with probation. Tyler Christian, Charlene Russell and Austin Mohr were accused of trying to obtain weapons to kill their classmates.Monday morning, Christian and Russell pled no contest to a charge of disruption of a school function. They must stick to a long list of conditions that include a letter of apology, a ban from public school and they must continue to participate in mental health treatment.
