SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- Investigators were searching for a man they believe could be behind a string of burglaries at Seminole County businesses.

Surveillance video was released of the thief popping the outdoor light just before breaking into the Smiles By Design dentist's office in Apopka Monday night. The burglar then smashed through the front glass door and yanked a flat screen television.

Investigators said the thief was in and out of the store in forty seconds. They also said that within the past two months, two other businesses within a mile of the dentist's office were burglarized the same way.

"It's the beginning of what we could possibly see as a trend," said James Clark of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.

The dentist said he had video of the actual crime, but the security system rewrote over the digital file.
