SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- He wanted death and he got it. Late Wednesday afternoon, Andrew Allred was sentenced to death for murdering his ex-girlfriend and her friend in cold blood. All along, Allred said he'd be better off dead, at one point during all of this saying, "Give me the guillotine."A judge sentenced him to the death penalty twice over Wednesday afternoon for the brutal killings that left at least two families devastated and countless friends still mourning.Allred walked into court looking scraggily, thinner and with a beard, as he heard the judge speak in no uncertain terms about the heinousness of his crime. He showed no visible emotion and refused to speak to the judge before the sentencing. It was last September that Allred drove to an Oviedo home where his ex-girlfriend, Tiffany Barwick, and her friend, Michael Ruschak, were hanging out. He admitted to shooting out the back glass door and going on a rampage that left his two former friends dead.Allred's mother and a brother were in the courtroom to hear the sentencing. He never looked back at them and they refused to comment to Eyewitness News.
