ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A group of thieves is targeting fast food restaurants across Central Florida. Detectives say there have been thirteen robberies spread out over Orange, Seminole, and Volusia Counties in a five-week span.Detectives also said two thieves use a variety of disguises including ski masks, handkerchiefs, and an outrageous wig. However, the robbers' heights, weights, mannerisms and their weapons have been the same."At first maybe they appeared nervous. Now, they go in, they commit the act, put the victim on the floor, even innocent bystanders," said Peter Marino of the Orange County Sherriff's Office.Officers warn the thieves have gotten bolder and were pointing guns in people's faces. There's a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the crooks' arrests.
