Eyewitness News obtained the explicit Internal Affairs report and uncovered the new investigation into the Melbourne police officer and four hookers. The officer has been fired or resigned from at least two other police agencies. Before Officer Chris Buccelli started at the Melbourne Police Department, he was fired from the Cocoa Police Department and resigned from the Cocoa Beach Police Department after short stints at both.

Now, an internal investigation into his contact with prostitutes has been re-opened in Melbourne.Officer Buccelli continues to wear his Melbourne police uniform with pride even though he's been accused of tarnishing the reputation of the department. Eyewitness News obtained a copy of the 200-plus page Internal Affairs investigation.According to the report, a lieutenant was arresting a prostitute during a drug sweep in September when she told the lieutenant she once had sex with Officer Buccelli and knew of three others that had sex with him, too.Buccelli has denied having sex with any of them. When he was questioned, he accused them of making up the allegations saying, "I've been a part of, if not the arresting officer, with all four of them in my career here at the Melbourne Police Department."Buccelli was suspended for two weeks and placed on probation for a year, but the department did not fire him because they felt they didn't have enough evidence, even though two of the prostitutes passed polygraph tests."There are some new allegations that have arisen," said Commander Ron Bell, Melbourne Police Department. Now, police say, they are re-opening the case and taking Buccelli back off the street."We can't really can't talk about the allegations other than to say the officer will be transferred to an administrative duty here within the building," Bell said. The officer's career maybe in jeopardy regardless of what happens at the Melbourne Police Department. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is reviewing the case and could pull the officer's certification. If that happens, he can't be an officer anywhere in the state.
