VIDEO REPORT: Man Resists Arrest During Takedown

The trooper struggled to slam him to the ground while another trooper ran up to help and the two then struggled to get him under control.

This is ridiculous! He's yelling at me, grabbing me and he has maced me once. Okay, this is not cool," Allen told the dispatcher.Eyewitness News counted at least 40 vehicles speeding by, including a large armored truck and a Lynx bus. One trooper's foot was almost in the roadway as he struggled with Allen. It may have felt like an eternity for the troopers, but 12 trooper and sheriff's deputy squad cars were there within a minute. They blocked the far right lane of I-4 and help with the arrest. Allen was still on the phone."Dude, I'm not even fighting you. I'm not fighting you," Allen told the dispatcher as he was being restrained.Allen was eventually cuffed and arrested. He's facing charges of battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and reckless driving, because he didn't think he deserved a speeding ticket."He told the troopers afterwards, it was a matter of principle, that he felt he did nothing wrong, decided to batter a law enforcement officer to prove his point," Sgt. Kim Miller said.Eyewitness News asked and troopers don't believe Allen was on drugs. He has since bonded out of the Orange County jail.
