Your cable box can be set so that each time you turn the television on it will be on your favorite channel. Most cable companies set the default Power-On channel to a station that they have an interest in. Here’s how you can set your cable box so that your television starts on WFTV, WFTVHD or WRDQ.
How To Set The Power-On Channel To Start On WFTV or WRDQ On your remote:
Power up the cable box and television
Press SETTINGS to display the Quick Settings menu
Press RIGHT ARROW to move to the Display menu
Press the UP or DOWN arrows to find the Power-On Channel selection
Press SELECT
Press the UP or DOWN arrows to find WFTV on Channel 7, or WFTVHD on Channel 1090, or WRDQ
