Marion Co. Couple Booked For Alleged Murder

MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- Marion County deputies have arrested two people for the brutal kidnapping and murder of a Citra woman.Joshua Damien Fulgham and his pregnant girlfriend, Emilia Carr, were arrested for the kidnapping and murder of Fulgham's estranged wife, Heather Strong.Deputies said there were discrepancies in both Fulgham and Carr's stories.Marion County Sheriff's deputies say 27-year-old Fulgham confessed to kidnapping his wife, binding her to a chair and suffocating her with a plastic bag inside a storage trailer, all with the help of his girlfriend.An investigator Eyewitness News talked to said Fulgham even showed them where he put strong's body."Josh Fulgham actually took us to the grave site that he had dug for Heather Strong," said a Marion County investigator.Fulgham and the victim have two children and were in a custody battle. Fulgham said that he was tired of dealing with Strong and that is why he killed her.Investigators say he even used his dead wife's credit cards after she disappeared in February.
