Police have arrested two people in connection with a Mount Dora bank robbery.

Investigators say Thomas Banno robbed the Bank of America on CR 44B in Mount Dora Saturday. When police went to his house to arrest him, he led them on a chase.

The chase ended in Howey-in the Hills when Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Banno. They also arrested Banno’s passenger, Patricia Titman, who admitted to driving the getaway car during the robbery.

Police say Banno was out on bond for a bank robbery in Walton County when he committed this crime.
