Officers say a Bonnie and Clyde-like team may be linked to as many as 30 car burglaries in the south Orlando area.

The couple was arrested and charged with three smash and grabs in Orlando, eight in Belle Isle and we the Orange County Sheriff's Office believes the duo committed dozens of burglaries there.

Belle Isle police say they spotted a woman in a getaway car at a park across the street, acting suspiciously.

When the officer went to talk to her, he said she became flustered. That's when they figured out she was waiting on her boyfriend, as he burglarized several cars in the gated community.

Danny Tucker and Dayna Rosado were caught in the Belle Isle community. Investigators say they found a load of stolen property inside the getaway vehicle that Rosado waited in.

The couple would go to neighborhoods in south Orlando in the middle of the night, break car windows to get goods left inside and in some cases they would used a crow bar to pry out the window, afraid they would wake someone in the community.

The duo, police say, could be linked to up to 30 burglaries from south Orlando to Hunters Creek in Orange County.

"It's a two person gang crime unit. They have been all the way down Hunters Creek, making lives miserable for other people, stealing, breaking into their cars," said John Tegg, Belle Isle Police Chief. "All they're doing it for is for dope, themselves. Go buy their dope, shoot up all day and go do burglaries all night."

One alleged burglary victim said the couple did so much damage to her car when they broke into her car that it's still in the shop and had to drive a rental vehicle.

Danny Tucker remains incarcerated in the Orange County jail, but his alleged accomplice, Dayna Rosado, was released on bond.
