APOPKA, Fla. -- Dozens of Apopka residents are back in their homes Tuesday morning after they were evacuated because of a bomb scare.Late Monday night deputies evacuated 18 homes for more than an hour after a woman thought she found a live grenade in her closet.Marsha Neal was cleaning shelves when the grenade fell on the ground."I looked down there and picked it up, and my daughter said, oh my god it's a grenade. She said, where you going? And I said I had to get it out of here," said Neal.Neal took the grenade outside and threw it in her backyard. The explosive device turned out to be hollowed out and was not dangerous. However, it took experts from the Orange County Bomb Squad to make that determination.
