LAKE COUNTY, Fla. -- University of Central Florida basketball player Jermaine Taylor was picked up during the NBA draft.

Thursday night, Taylor hosted a draft party in his hometown of Tavares and watched with family and friends as he was selected by the Washington Wizards with the 32nd overall pick in the draft.Shortly after the pick was made, it was announced that Taylor was traded to the Houston Rockets.Taylor is only the second Knights player ever to be drafted. He says he is excited to live his dream.
