Suspect Dead After Shootout With Sheriff’s Deputy

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- Just after midnight Saturday morning Seminole County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a domestic disturbance at a home on Flint Trail in Geneva.According to officials when Corporal Conley arrived on scene, he was shot at by 56-year-old Kenneth Keefer. Corporal Conley fired back with a single shot.Keefer was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head. It is not clear if Keefer was shot by Corporal Conley or if he shot himself.The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating.Corporal Conley has been placed on administrative leave pending the results of the investigation.
