Rain Foils Septic Tank Search For Ocasio

Bad weather scrubbed plans to drain a septic tank Tuesday in the search for a missing Ocoee woman. A similar type of search turned up nothing last week.

It's been five weeks since Tracy Ocasio disappeared and the prime suspect, James Hataway, remains behind bars.

The Ocasio's coffee table has turned into their own personal ground zero. In their house, the effort to find their daughter Tracy continues daily.

Her father, Joe Ocasio, has followed up on numerous tips even finding and photographing an area where raised dirt looked suspicious. Police say they plan to search it this week.

Last week, a septic tank near James Hataway's father's house was drained, detectives say he worked as a septic tank cleaner and at one point, according to police, commented to a co-worker, "you could get rid of someone in here."

As the weeks go by Joe and Liz Ocasio become more certain the only suspect in their daughter's disappearance is probably responsible for the disappearance of others.

"I think when you find Tracy you'll find more, you may find Christopher George, you may find Jennifer Kesse," said Liz Ocasio.

Wednesday, the couple expects to get the results from a forensic examination of Hataway's father's computer that might reveal not only who he was communicating with, but a look into his dark side.

"I don't want to think about what her last moments may have been like," said Joe Ocasio.

The suspect in Ocasio's disappearance, James Hataway, has been charged with burglary, battery, robbery and false imprisonment.

Those charges are related to an incident last August, involving Rachel Clarke who says Hataway assaulted her after leaving a bar.

Police also say Hataway is involved in "dark arts" and seized items in his home relating to murder, suicide, cannibalism, vampires and serial killers.
