12-Year-Old Bitten By Shark At Daytona Beach

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. -- A 12-year-old girl was bitten by a shark over the holiday weekend, making her this year's sixth shark bite victim in Volusia County.The girl from Ohio was boogie boarding Sunday along Daytona Beach when a shark bit her on the right ankle. She was in water that was only four feet deep at the time of the attack.The girl's parents took her to a local hospital for stitches. She is expected to be okay.
