They were arrested Thursday for at least ten purse-snatchings, including one where an elderly victim was thrown to the ground."Get out of my face," yelled Cynthia Teague."To live to be 93 years old and then have something like this happen, I never would have dreamed it," victim Lila Gifford said.Life has not been the same for the 93-year old Gifford since she was thrown to the ground by a purse-snatcher at the Mount Dora Wal-Mart in June."I drove to the store and to the doctor, and everywhere by myself. And now I can't do any of that," said Gifford. The fall dislocated and broke Gifford's shoulder in three places. While lying on the scorching hot asphalt, she suffered second and third degree burns.Investigators believe the Teagues are responsible. The women have been on the run for weeks. Detectives believe they were hiding outside of Florida.Police thank tipsters for the arrests. They also got some helpful information from the third purse-snatching suspect Johnicia Albury. She gave up Lovetta and Cynthia Teague after her arrest in Kissimmee.
