County Selling Thoroughbred Horses Cheap

MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- Marion County is offering registered thoroughbred horses for adoption for just $75.00.

County Animal Services won legal custody of 23 horses five weeks ago because the animals were hundreds of pounds underweight and were not being cared for properly.

Some of the animals had been race horses and were originally worth thousands of dollars.
