CASSELBERRY, Fla. -- Investigators say they hope autopsy results, possibly to be released Monday, will tell them what killed a two-year-old girl. The child was found dead at the Castle Wood apartment complex in Casselberry Saturday.Police say her mother waited 12 hours to report the child's death. Investigators have not been able to interview the mother, who had to be hospitalized after she overdosed on medication after she called 911.The 22-year-old single mother is in critical condition at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Eyewitness News learned that Casselberry detectives met with the State Attorneys Office and is looking at filing charges against Nioshka Bello, but they won't say what the charges will be.Bello is the mother of the 2-year-old who has found dead over the weekend."They were very nice and very well kept. The child was always happy I am still in shock," neighbor Debbie Wayte said. It's still unclear how the child died, but police say the mother waited 12 hours before she reported her daughter's death. When police got to the apartment complex, officers said the mother seemed detached and disinterested in the condition or status of her child. But neighbors say that's not true."When the mom came out, she looked very distraught. She looked like she was in shock," Wayte said.According to reports, officers believe the mother took abut 20 tablets of Benadryl and an unknown amount of Tylenol. Neighbors believe the mother overdosed on the medication, because she was upset and not because she did anything wrong."The mother was very doting over the daughter, you know what I mean," Wayte said. The Medical Examiner's Office is currently conducting an autopsy and preliminary results will most likely be available this week, but the Casselberry Police Department says it will not release those results until the investigation is complete.Eyewitness News was told the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and Casselberry police have dealt with the mother in the past for mental issues.
