Fla. Man Falls Out Of Hot Air Balloon

ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- A Florida man is recovering after he fell out a hot air balloon in New Mexico. Thomas Hurd, 62, has a broken hip after the basket of the balloon he was in hit the top of a tent and tipped over at the Balloon Fiesta Fairgrounds in Albuquerque Monday.The pilot, 56-year-old Timmerly Ecklund, then let some air out and the balloon fell to the ground. Ecklund was not seriously hurt.The pilot, Eyewitness News learned, is to blame because he should have made sure his passenger was secure.
