BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- The crew that will fly aboard the space shuttle Atlantis in November arrived at the Kennedy Space Center late Monday morning. It is the second to the last mission for the spacecraft.Atlantis has the flight in mid-November and one more flight in May of 2010.Atlantis was rolled out to the pad last week and the astronauts are coming in for some of their final preparations before the launch. The crew of STS-129, headed by Charlie Hobaugh, flew into the Kennedy Space Center’s shuttle landing facility just after 11:00am. They are scheduled to run through a countdown dress rehearsal and emergency evacuation drills later this week.The crew will be embarking on an 11-day mission to the space station to take up supplies and parts. Six astronauts are going up, but there will be seven coming back. They will also be retrieving astronaut Nicole Stott from Florida. She will be the last long-term space station resident to get a ride up and back aboard the space shuttle.Atlantis is set to blast-off November 12 at 4:10pm.
