Sex Offender Accused Of Attacking Teen

A registered sex offender is back in jail after police said he lured a young teen to his home, drugged him, and sexually assaulted him.

Daytona Beach detectives arrested 37-year-old Terrance Lee at his home on North Hollywood Avenue on Wednesday.

In August, investigators said Lee invited two teenage boys to his home to watch a movie. Then, one boy told police Lee put a white, powdery substance into an alcoholic drink, and gave it to his 15-year-old friend. Police believe it was some type of date rape drug.

Police said Lee gave the teens a ride home. Once he was alone with the victim, detectives said Lee sexually assaulted the 15-year-old.

Lee is now in the Volusia County Jail. The convicted sex offender violated his probation earlier this month, and just got out of jail last week.

Daytona Beach Police Chief Mike Chitwood believes there may be more victims out there, and he is urging them to call his department.
