OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. -- Osceola County detectives say a woman tried to hire a hit man to kill her ex-husband, but it was really an undercover deputy. Mandarita Lupo was arrested Friday and taken to the Osceola County jail.

Investigators set up an undercover sting after they got an anonymous tip on Wednesday about Lupo looking to hire a hit man.

The sheriff's office said Lupo drove their undercover deputy around to show the phony hit man where her ex- husband worked and lived. Deputies say she even supplied his work schedule.

They say Lupo wanted to get rid of her ex-husband because he was trying to take her son.
