BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- A five-year-long battle between Brevard County and the city of Palm Bay could soon be over.County and city officials have reached a deal that will allow the county to continue to provide ambulance service to city residents.County commissioners will consider the settlement during a Tuesday morning meeting at the government center in Viera. The city council could vote on it later this month. If approved, the deal would begin April 1, 2010.
