ORLANDO, Fla. -- Eyewitness News was told that there's another serial bank robber on the loose in Orlando. In the span of just hours Friday a man robbed a SunTrust bank on John Young Parkway and a Regions bank on Millenia Boulevard.Police say the suspect has been trying to disguise himself, but they are not fooled. The bank robber always has the same tactics. He has an affinity for disguises and his demands for cash come in the form of a note. When Eyewitness News arrived at SunTrust along South John Young Parkway, Orlando police were processing their second bank robbery scene within hours. ‘I don't know why someone would do this,” bank customer Charlie Chapple said.At around 10:00am Friday morning a man in a white Kangol hat and possibly a wig, walked into a Region's Bank on Millenia Boulevard and passed a note to the teller. When he got what he wanted he ran off. Later in the afternoon, just two miles away, the baseball-capped robber walked into SunTrust. Again, he handed the clerk a note this time implying he was carrying a weapon.Police believe the very same man is responsible for both daytime robberies. Regular customers were relieved no one was hurt. ‘I'm just glad I didn't get here any sooner,” bank customer Cali Arroyave said. The robber took off on foot, but police can't say if there was a getaway vehicle nearby. But, they do know it's unlikely it’s the suspect's first day on the job.Eyewitness News first reported on October 29 when a black male, believed to be the same man, in his 20s passed a note to a SunTrust teller on South Orange Blossom Trail and again, the robber implied he had a weapon. Now, police are looking to bring the string of robberies to an end. That suspect was careful to keep his eyes low around the cameras. But, police are hopeful they have enough images to identify the suspect.
