BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. -- A Brevard County woman broke into a mother’s car in front of a daycare center on Julian Avenue in Palm Bay earlier this month and police are still looking for a second suspect. The burglary victim was driving a white Mercedes, which pulled into the daycare parking lot. She was there just to drop off a bottle of baby formula.

A blue car then pulled up beside her. Police say the driver of that blue car is Shiteria Lovette. Lovette stopped to look inside the victim’s car. She then told a friend, Tiffanie Jordan, to act as a lookout, all while two small children wandered around near the door.

Lovette spent almost three minutes rummaging through the Mercedes. Police say Lovette pulled a pair of credit cards from the woman's purse and put it in her bra.

"This was clearly a crime of opportunity," Yvonne Martinez of the Palm Bay Police Department.

Just two hours later, the women allegedly went on a shopping spree. Their first stop was a Walmart in east Palm Bay, where they spent $1,180 on various merchandise.

The women then went to a Walmart on the other side of town. They loaded up over $900 in merchandise, but had to leave it behind because the cashier asked for ID for the credit card. So, they left and went up the road to Melbourne where they spent half the day at a spa, spending another $100, including a tip.

"They actually had the other woman sign the receipt at the day spa. They said their nails were wet," Martinez said.

Tiffanie Jordan was tracked down by Palm Bay investigators Wednesday night and arrested on charges of burglary and fraudulent use of a credit card. She's being held on $8,000 bond.

Lovette, the other woman named in the crime, was supposed to turn herself into police Thursday morning, but as of 6:00pm, she was nowhere to be found.
