WINTER GARDEN, Fla. -- A Winter Garden woman made a frantic call to 911 moments after her neighbor made a daring escape from four masked and armed kidnappers.

The victim had just been shot after jumping from a second story window in her home where her family was being held captive and ran to her neighbor's house.

"I don't know why this is happening. I'm so scared," the frightened neighbor told the 911 operator.

"Please, just hold on okay. The police are coming," said the 911 operator.

The scared and frantic neighbor tried to calm Marcela Borges Tuesday afternoon.

"My neighbor (panting), she's really messed up, she got in my garage," said the caller. "Please help, please fast."

The caller told the dispatcher she heard yelling outside her home, and when she went to check it out she saw one of the suspects pointing a gun at Borges. Borges was shot as she ran to her neighbor's home for help.

"Of course I didn't stick around. You know, check it out. I ran and I grabbed the phone and I called you guys," explained the caller. "Now, I'm involved and they are going to come after me!"

The call went on for about ten minutes and throughout it the caller could only describe her neighbor's injuries. However, she had no idea why it happened, because as she told the dispatcher their Lake Roberts Landing subdivision is normally quiet.

"They had her feet bound and she was all beat up in the face," said the caller.

"What did she say?" asked the emergency operator.

"She said please help me, help me, help me," said the caller.

Borges underwent surgery for her gunshot wound and other injuries. She is still in the hospital and is expected to recover.

Three of the four suspects involved in the kidnapping, robbery and shooting of the Borges family are in custody. Police are looking for the fourth suspect, a woman, but they have not yet released her name.
