H.S. Football Player Arrested In Drug Raid

KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- A drug raid swept part of Kissimmee and only Eyewitness News was there as an Osceola High School football player was hauled to jail just hours before a big game.Police arrested 19-year-old William Bostic at school wearing his uniform. He was just one of nearly one dozen suspects arrested in the raid that sent SWAT crews armed with flash bangs and guns to two homes within a block of each other on Person Street in Kissimmee.Bostic didn't say one word as he was taken to jail. He, along with nine others, were jailed on charged they were dealing drugs. The drug bust was dubbed "Kissimmee Classic."After a loud flash bang, SWAT crews raided two known crack houses within one block of each other on Person Street just after 1:00pm. Police targeted 23 known drug dealers.Bostic is a star football player who won’t be playing in Friday night’s playoff game against Oveido High School.“William, police say you have been dealing drugs, anything to say at all?” WFTV Mark Boyle asked.Bostic is a defensive tackle for the team. “His career is pretty much over. If there were any colleges looking for him, they're not going to be look at him anymore,” Stacie Miller of the Kissimmee Police Department said.Of the 23 suspects, ten were handcuffed Friday afternoon and the search is on for the remaining 13. Some are related, including father and son Fletcher Hollinger II and Fletcher Hollinger III.“This is one big group of people who have been continuously selling drugs in our community out of those two homes,” Miller said.Once the homes were clear, officers searched for evidence. They found weapons, bullets and cocaine inside.If convicted, the suspects could be locked up for at least three years. Those arrested are expected to be in court Saturday morning.The group was in the process of being booked into the Osceola County jail Friday evening.
