MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- The investigation continued Sunday into how a mother and her four children ended up dead after a fire destroyed their mobile home early Saturday morning. The cause has still not been released.Everyone in the family died, except for the father who was not home at the time because had left for a hunting trip this morning, neighbors said.In a family photo obtained by Eyewitness News, the mother, Tabetha Belanger is pictured after she gave birth to ther youngest son, Aron, in August. She's surrounded by her other sons who died, Hunter, Nicolas and Michael. The fire was reported by a passerby at about 6:45 a.m. When Marion County firefighters arrived to the mobile home on 20th Street in Ocala, they found it fully engulfed in flames."The flames were higher than the fire trucks," neighbor Ralph Payne told Eyewitness News.He and his wife Chrissy searched for the mother and her boys on the street."We just kept wondering if they had gotten out, if they were even home," Chrissy Payne said. When the fire was under control and firefighters were able to search the mobile home, they found five people dead inside. The children's grandmother was so devastated, she needed medical attention herself.
