SLIDESHOW: House Sliced In Two By 180-Foot Crane

KENNESAW, Ga. -- A Georgia woman is without a place to live after her house was sliced in two by a crane Tuesday evening. Homeowner Beverly Wolfe was eating dinner at the kitchen table when a 180-foot crane sliced through her home like a knife though a birthday cake.

The crane came within ten feet of her. She knew she needed to get out of the house when she started seeing things from the upstairs falling down.

The person in the crane was trying to assist a tree cutter in the backyard. They were trying to lift pieces of the cut tree from the backyard, over the house, into the front. They're not sure why the crane tipped over.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

Beverly says she's taking the whole thing in stride. "I just pretty much heard, before I saw anything. And I started hearing the crashing and started seeing things flying from upstairs, down through and thought, 'God, I need to get out of here.'"
