ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Leesburg police officer is out of jail on bond Wednesday.

Officer Rolando Rangel appeared in court Tuesday afternoon on charges he assaulted his wife, then handcuffed her with his police-issued cuffs.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office says the couple was fighting over finances.

When deputies arrived at the home, Rangel was waiting for them outside in full uniform.
