SEX OFFENDER SEARCH
MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- A Marion County commissioner wants to send sex offenders to Mexico.

During a forum Wednesday night at Central Florida Community College, commissioner Randy Harris suggested the U.S. and Mexico could work out a deal to send our most serious sexual offenders and predators to a Mexican prison.

"Well, it's obvious the American prison system is not a good deterrent to serious offenders and I think, very likely, the Mexican prison system would be a good deterrent," Harris said.

Members of the Mexican community said the prisons in Mexico will not change the criminals.
