SLIDESHOW: Scene Before And After UCF Shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Channel 9 obtained new photos from an eyewitness to the shooting death of a UCF police officer. The photos show Officer Mario Jenkins pointing his gun close to the back of the head of an apparent underage drinker at the Citrus Bowl.

Jenkins was wearing street clothes and investigating underage drinking at tailgate parties when an Orlando police officer shot him September 24 at the Citrus Bowl before a UCF football game. Jenkins had gotten into a scuffle with a student, fired his gun into the air and was then shot and killed by officer Dennis Smith, who was nearby, witnesses said. Smith was placed on administrative leave.

The photographer of the newly released photos, who is a UCF graduate, wanted to remain anonymous.

Another witness said Jenkins was not pointing the gun at the fan, but was swinging it around to move a crowd back after firing three shots in the air.

"So it looks like he already put shots in the air and then he's pointing his gun to back people up," said eyewitness Adam Douglas.

In another photo, Jenkins can be seen involved in a struggle. In a third, the witness said Jenkins fired at fan Mike Young, who grabbed him from behind to pull him off a friend.

Official results from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation won't be released at least for two months.
