Recommendations From UCF Task Force On Alcohol Policies And Procedures

1) All law enforcement officers wear full uniform while working at UCF games, at least until FDLE investigation is complete.

2) No beer funnels allowed at Citrus Bowl

3) If you have an open container, you must have ID to prove you're 21; UCF considering giving away lanyards to students to wear IDs around their necks

4) Strictly enforce rules that you must have a parking pass to park in tailgate lot

5) Tailgaters must either enter the stadium or leave the parking lot by the end of the first quarter; A spirit team of students may be used to accomplish this at the start of the game

6) Have central headquarters location at the Citrus Bowl for all agencies to use

7) Launch positive education campaign utilizing public service announcements, posters, banners, and other means to inform students, alumni, and other tailgaters of new policies

8) Designate responsible students and staff members to oversee tailgating procedures

9) Issue performance reviews to make sure policies are working

All suggestions will be decided on by Task Force Chairman Al Harms Tuesday night and formal recommendations will be submitted to UCF President John Hitt Wednesday afternoon. Hitt will decide which policies to enact and notify students, alumni and other tailgaters before Saturday's home game.
