WINTER GARDEN, Fla. -- A KFC restaurant had to be evacuated in Winter Garden on Thursday afternoon when an SUV crashed into it.

There wasn't a lot of structural damage to the building on West Colonial Drive, but it was evacuated because of a gas odor inside.

Rescue workers feared the SUV ruptured a gas line when it hit the restaurant.

No one was injured and there were no details on what caused the driver to lose control.
