ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The names of three University of Central Florida students involved in a fatal car crash in east Orange County may be released Wednesday.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the car smashed into a tree on Challenger Parkway on Tuesday night.

The driver and front seat passenger died at the scene.

The third person was cut out of the back seat and flown to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
