Veteran Police Officer Charged With Having Sex With Teen

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- A 15-year veteran of the Daytona Beach police force is charged with having sex with a minor.

Investigators said 37-year-old Paul Passamonte had sex with a 17-year-old girl in May of 2004.

The complaint was just filed late last month.

Passamonte has been suspended while the case is under investigation.
