KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- A Marion County school administrator was suspended from his job after he was allegedly caught exposing himself at an Osceola County park. Bruce Foster was in town for an education convention.

Investigators said the man he exposed himself to at Lakefront Park was an undercover deputy.

Kissimmee's Lakefront Park is a place that's commonly crowded with kids and their parents, like 6-year-old Brian Martinez and his mother, Wanda.

"I bring him two or three days a week to play and have fun, because it's a nice park," Wanda said.

But what happened there Tuesday night was not so nice. In the parking lot, an undercover Osceola County deputy struck up a conversation with a man sitting in a parked car.

"He was invited to go into the car with him and it was at that time the individual propositioned him," said Twis Lizasuain, Marion County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the individual was 51-year-old Bruce Foster, the executive director of school development for Marion County schools. Authorities said he exposed himself to the deputy and was arrested.

The 26-year school district employee found his way to the park from the Gaylord Palms Resort along Osceola Parkway and I-4.

Deputies said he was in town attending a special conference, the International Center for Leadership in Education. The arrest was one of several Tuesday night in a handful of county parks as part of a prostitution investigation.

"That's why this is a serious offense, because the acts he is accused of doing are in an area that's public," Lizasuain said.

Wanda Martinez was shocked to hear it. Until now, she never thought twice going to the park.

"Yeah, yeah. Because, like I say, I bring my kids to play. I trust around here. He goes and plays, and I'm here reading. But right now, I'm gonna have to be careful with that," she said.

A Marion County schools spokesman said Foster was been placed on paid administrative leave. He will be kept off the job until an internal investigation is completed.
