SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. -- The Christian Coalition said it called thousands of Seminole County voters to set the record straight about a campaign flyer they called misleading.

Michael Blake is running for county commission. He claims to have the endorsement of coalition board member Christine Moore.

When the group saw the campaign flyer, they sent out a recorded voice mail message.

“Our organization never endorses candidates. Yet a mailer was recently sent by Blake that is misleading many voters into thinking that he has been endorsed by the Christian Coalition,” said the recording.

The coalition board member that Blake makes reference to is a paid consultant for his campaign.

Blake's opponent, Mike Mclean calls the flyer inappropriate and misleading.
