Man Accused Of Smashing Head Through Cruiser Windshield

CLERMONT, Fla. -- Clermont police had to hogtie a man who smashed his head through a police car windshield on purpose.Early Friday morning, Russell Collins got into a fight with bouncers at the Crown Restaurant and Lounge on Highway 27.When bouncers called police, police said Collins tried to fight with them. When officers tried to handcuff him, Collins head butted the windshield.Collins was taken to the hospital and then hauled off to jail.
