Cyclists Get More Protection From Lawmakers

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A new law meant to better protect Florida's bicyclists is now in effect.The law requires drivers to keep a buffer of at least three feet around cyclists on the roads. Drivers who don't give cyclists a buffer will face fines of more than $100.Last year 119 bicyclists were killed in Florida car-related crashes.
