Charlie Crist Joins Orlando-Based Law Firm

None — Charlie Crist left Tallahassee a few days ago, but Friday the former governor announced he has a new job.

Crist said he will join the law firm of Morgan & Morgan. John Morgan has been a longtime political backer of Crist. The two men said they have been friends for years.

Crist, who was a lawyer before he entered politics, said he is looking forward to working with his new employer and said he plans to work mostly in his hometown of St. Petersburg.

Earlier this week, Crist said he may also take a part-time job as a visiting professor at the Stetson Law School in St. Petersburg.

The announcement was made Friday morning at a law firm breakfast in Orlando.
