Country star Aldean sets Amway attendance record

ORLANDO, Fla. — Sunday night, January 22, 2012, the Amway Center hosted Jason Aldean's ‘My Kinda Party’ tour with special guests Luke Bryan and Lauren Alaina.  Jason Aldean's "Kinda Party" turned out to be a sold out one. Orlando fans partied at the Amway Center while setting a new concert attendance record of 16,014.  The previous attendance record of 15,996 was set by Bon Jovi on May 15, 2011.

“We were honored to have one of country music’s most revered artist’s play our venue,” stated Amway Center Executive Director, Allen Johnson.  “Orlando loves Jason Aldean and this new attendance record proves the unmatchable loyalty and energy of Central Florida fans.”

“Nothing’s hotter than country music right now, and K92FM will continue to lead the charge in supporting and promoting all the great shows coming to the new Amway Center,” said Debbie Morel, Vice President and General Manager of Cox Media Group. “Last night was a perfect example of how Orlando loves country music!”

There's no stopping Jason Aldean; he has clearly set himself apart from the rest and he definitely knows how to throw a party.
