Dance, Dream & Inspire helps local foster children

Dance, Dream & Inspire helps local foster children.

Watch as six of Orlando's top professionals slip on their dancing shoes for Community Based Care of Central Florida's  (CBCCFL) Dance,Dream & Inspire - a fundraising gala to help Central Florida foster youth in need. The event will take place on Saturday, September 13th at Orlando's Hard Rock Live.

Our own Nancy Alvarez will be participating and you can help by voting for Nancy! Vote by clicking here! You will also see who else is competing in this year's event.

CBCCFL is pairing local celebrities with professional ballroom dancers to put on a show that is sure to have a lasting impact on the kids they serve.  The contestants include Debbie Platz, Esq., General Counsel for Nemours Children's Hospital; Monique Yeager, VP of Marketing at Tijuana Flats; and our very own Nancy Alvarez of WFTV/WRDQ Eyewitness News. You'll have the chance to vote for your favorite contestants by donating at least $1 to your favorite dancing duo.

WFTV/WRDQ's Jorge Estevez will be the co-host of the event as well. He was a big winner at last year's event, taking home the mirror ball trophy!

The funds raised through this event will go towards helping the nearly 600 children living in foster homes in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties live a more "normal" life.  The children, ages newborn to 21, require everything from a bed to sleep in to shoes on their feet, from dental care to prom dresses.

Sponsorship packages include a pre-performance VIP party and range from $100-$10,000.  Tickets to the dance show portion only are also available for $26.20 at Ticketmaster.com. For more information, visit www.DanceDreamInspire.com
