ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies said a man was shot during a home invasion in Orange County Sunday morning.

The home invasion happened at a home on Michael Terrace, just off of Rio Grande Avenue, around 7:00 a.m.

According to investigators, two armed suspects broke into the home, confronted the victim and took an unknown amount of money.

The victim was shot in the leg during the home invasion, deputies said. He was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Deputies are searching for two suspects who are Hispanic males and left the home in a green Jeep Cherokee. A third suspect is described as a black male who fled on foot.

Investigators told WFTV they are looking into the possibility that the home invasion was drug-related.
